What happens when we go through life and fall into patterns that take away our self worth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It lands us right here, reading a post on self worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How do you get self worth back?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no simple way to get your self worth back. It takes time. Throughout my journey, I have noticed some steps that helped me to redefine my self worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Learn from the past<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve written about my mental health journey, and what I\u2019ve been through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While writing helps me cope with anxiety, it also helped me to see the past as lessons to take from the situations that hurt my self worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also remains true that behaviour is habits, patterns and repeated thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to change your self worth, it is necessary to become aware of the negative patterns currently in your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most repeated phrases in personal development is;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change your thoughts change your life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The way I say it is;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change your actions change your life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Change your perspective change yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simply put, change is the only constant in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means, if we fear change, our life will stay the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But, if we embrace it, we can create our future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Think long term, not short term<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I was struggling really badly with borderline, I thought every argument was the end of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even recently, a situation made me feel so unwanted that I avoided it at all costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reminding myself that it\u2019s not a true belief.
