Recap…
Her voice came over the machine like a burst of cold air.
As I’m holding him, still in the hug, he shrugged me off, and ran into the bedroom.
bzzzzzzzz-bzzzz-bzzzz
There she was again; the mystery woman, with the stranger from my past.

Harvey ran out of the bedroom, threw my clothes at me, and muttered
It’s time for you to leave, this was great and all, but you need to go now!
The panic in my voice is everything the darkness warned me about.
How could I have been so stupid?
Why did I think I would win?
Of course he was seeing someone else!!
bzzzzz-bzzzzzzzzzzzzz-bzzzzz
Harvey? It’s getting cold, can you buzz me up?
Then I heard it…. Her voice brought back memories.
In a fit of anger, I pressed the buzzer and shouted,
You fucking slut! Take a hint and leave already! He’s kind of busyyyy.
Harvey didn’t appreciate this.
His face dropped, and he spoke back,
Kelsey, don’t leave. There’s nothing going on, I’ll be down in a minute. Katie is just leaving.
The resentment in his voice sent me further into the darkness of anger.
I can’t believe you, you sick son of a bitch!!
I pushed him, and grabbed his hair.
He pushed me back and shoved me against a wall.
~~~~ Slam ~~~~
Ahhhhh, what the fuck Harvey?! I’ll go. See you never.
Have a fucking shit life.
Fucking shit head.
Kelsey opened the door.
What the fuck is going on in here?
Nothing!
She looked at me, looked at Harvey.
Katie? I haven’t seen you since…. wow… What the hell happened to you?
Yeah, shut up, cunt.
I stormed out.
Darkness raging inside me
Just when I thought my life was changing, it takes control and leads me to this.
Great.
Am I ever going to be normal?
Oh, Kelsey was my so called best friend from summer camp who wouldn’t leave me alone.
She eventually left me alone, when I was dating Harvey and he was all she could talk about.
We didn’t break up because of her, but we should have.
I always knew there was something more between them.
I guess I have to move on with no best friend and no boyfriend.
Do I have to?
The emptiness of my life swallowed me whole as I jogged out of Harvey’s building.
Where do I even go?
What do I do now?
