Do you ever wonder what you can do to start changing your outlook from negative to positive? here are 6 things you can do to become more positive!
1. Be Grateful
Being grateful is a simple
Gratitude brings you back to the things you have in your life. It allows you to acknowledge the gifts you have received from other people and from the world.
Try thanking the Universe for shelter, food, water, and a family who cares about you and fosters your growth continuously.
I like to write down 10 things I am grateful for at the end of each day.
Finding the little things to be grateful for is powerful.
2. Live in the Present
When you live in the present moment the past doesn’t bother you and the future is undetermined.
It becomes easier to enjoy the opportunities and experiences happening right in front of you.
If your mind is cluttered with anticipation about the future, just remember that our thoughts create our reality.
It’s easy to say, be present.
We practice presence by meditating, repeating a mantra, or counting the things around us.
3. Volunteer
Taking time to volunteer and give back brings joy back into life!
It’s easy to get caught up in personal problems and forget that there are others fighting harder battles.
Volunteering helps you remember there are other people experiencing as much or more distress and hardship as yourself.
Volunteering puts personal issues into perspective. It shows you how lucky and blessed you are.

Spending time with those who love and support you can ignite positivity into your life by rejuvenating laughter and joy.
The secret of life is LOVE.
Surround yourself with people who love you.
Work on loving yourself.
Surrounding yourself with those who love and support you brings positivity because there is love around you.
Love vibrates on the level of positivity, they are synonymous.
5. Stop worrying, start living!
Practicing meditation, volunteering, spending more time with family, and being grateful, can lead to more enjoyment in what life has to offer.
The truth is, letting go of the past is freeing. Letting go of anticipation and fear is freeing. We have to learn how to let go, then we can live free.
6. Laugh!
Bringing joy into your life is easier when you are laughing.
Keep laughing until you can’t breathe and you just keep laughing!
It’s true what they say, laughter is the best medicine! The hormones it produces in your body are sure to make you feel happier.
Embracing a sense of humor when there is negativity is hard. When you find someone who can make you laugh, then keep that person around. Find a way to laugh at the overconfidence of young people, find a way to hold onto the playful attitude of children, this one change, will do wonders for your internal sense of peace and joy.
