Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out there putting their children first everyday. Today is day 10 of Wildflower May with the topic of 5 bad habits to leave behind.
1. Complaining
It’s time to give up complaining about Sally from work and focus on how you’re being pushed to grow by interacting with her. Change your perspective about the situation that hits you the wrong way, and you’ll find the situation, person or problem will resolve itself.
2. Gossiping and discussing problems
Where your focus goes, intention flows. This saying highlights how our focus dictates what comes to us, therefore if we are constantly discussing this person’s relationship with a different person, and theorizing ways that person sucks, we are asking for more of that in our life. It’s the simple law of Karma, so leave this bad habit behind!
3. Excuses for procrastination
Another bad habit to leave behind is making excuses so you can procrastinate! There is nothing useful about watching friends for the 100th time, unless you’re also making use of that time by, say, drawing, or critically analyzing the shows depth.
This applies to various habits, go for a walk, and get outside, don’t procrastinate, it will only hold you back!
4. Identity fakeness
Leave behind the bad habit of creating fake identities, what I mean by this is the habit of people-pleasing and agreeing with others when inside you really disagree. This identity fakeness prevents you from being your true authentic self, and no one wants to be friends with a person who is hallow on the inside!
5. Pessimistic views
The world sucks, woe is me, how can there be a God when the world is literally upside down? These are all examples of pessimistic statements of view, and no one likes a pessimist! Turn your frown upside-down by looking at the silver lining, and focusing on feeling good!
Who knows, maybe you’ll make more friends with a positive attitude than a pessimistic one!
Remember…
Throughout the month of May we are blooming into our fullest, truest, authentic selves! In order to do this and maintain our blossom throughout the rest of the year, it is necessary to leave behind some bad habits.
Now is the time to take account of our habits that are holding us back. What can we replace these bad habits with? That post is coming soon!
With love and light,
~~ stay true, stay weird ~~
